PIDPLATES are attached by removing the special protection foil from the self-adhesive back and then pressing on it. The surface must be clean, dry and smooth before attachment (use a cleaning cloth, for instance). If car polish or a similar product has been used beforehand, you should clean the surface intensely with cleaning alcohol or silicon remover; otherwise the PIDPLATES won’t stick properly. The surrounding temperature during attachment shouldn’t be below 59°F. In lower temperatures, carefully use a hair dryer to warm up the surface as well as the back of the PIDPLATE before attachment. This will strengthen the self-adhesive process. Then remove the protection foil, place the PIDPLATE on the desired location and press on it with both hands. For optimal adhesive strength, please do not touch, clean or wash the surface for at least 48 hrs. Please note that PIDPLATES should not be stuck to “swinging” items.
